Offering

On this and my next post I would like to show and describe the two pieces that are hanging in St Mary’s Basilica in Minneapolis, MN during the month of September, 2013. You will notice a picture of both of them in my gallery section. In February I won an Honorable Mention at the Benedictine St. Paul Monastery in Maplewood, MN on the piece I am talking about today.We often make a simple offering and take it for granted. We follow in the steps of Simeon, Anna, Saints and everyday people to open our heart to share the loaves and fishes. Within this burning fire we transform the fish, wheat and all the potential they hold to nourish. Breaking through with new vision we inspire a community where the rich will gather and wait for the offerings of the poor to nourish them.
