Conversion

Today we begin the season of lent which calls us to conversion of heart.The center of the heart shape contains a cross which often is at the center of our conversion.New life springs out of the cross in the leaf like carving immediately surrounding the cross. The open area conveys new life with the image of a butterfly. The carved heart shows that the road to that point of conversion may not be an easy one.
