Oak Fall Leaves

With the winds and first frost of these past days, we see the familiar sight of leaves blowing past our windows. It creates such a different view to once again see the whole structure of the trees as they lose their leaves. It is a blessing to have the different seasons which remind us that change is good. This summer the BBC from England came to do a documentary of our Sisters. Their particular interest was the study that had been done a few years ago which was written about in "Aging With Grace." It was a study where many of our Sisters donated their brains to science after their death, to help in studying Alzheimer's. In the few days that the crew was here, they wanted to come over to my studio to film me working. The Oak Fall Leaves was the piece that I was working on at the time. So if you ever happen to see the documentary that will come out in England this coming January you might spot these leaves. Thanks to all who stopped by at the Craft Fair last week. It was a beautiful day and your support made it all the more wonderful. We are grateful!
