Led By Faith and Grace

The past several months I have been working on a large project for the Archive's of the School Sisters of Notre Dame which is newly housed at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee WI. I chose to take a quote from Mother Caroline Friess, "Led By Faith and Grace" as the direction for the carving. She was the one that was left in charge of North America after six of them arrived in New York Harbor from Munich in 1847.Mother Caroline established many missions throughout North America to educate children. The former Provinces that she established are written on the stars with their founding date.Led By Faith and Grace, Part of Donor Wall
