Do This In Memory of Me

This command was given to us at the Last Supper. We remember when the impression of a person lingers in our love like scent of incense. These images are always with us and continue pulling at our heart.In the sculpture, feet are being washed at the same time Eucharist is being offered. This suggests giving and receiving are inseparable and are dependent on each other. Presence carries us into the vision Christ had in mind when uttering “Do This in Memory.” Let us continue to breathe life into this unchanging petition.
